Who We Are

 Ricky Farley - Founder & K9 Trainer

Ricky Farley has owned and operated the Alabama Canine Law Enforcement Officer’s Training Center since 1992. He has had the privilege of training police service canines for over 28 foreign countries as well as over 1500 police departments inside the United States. Over his 21-year career, Mr. Farley has trained canines in areas of narcotics, explosives, accelerant, and cadaver detection as well as apprehension. He has made numerous television appearances on issues pertaining to police service canines, assisted both large and small departments in writing their canine policies and procedures, given civil liability lectures along with search and seizure law updates, and lectured over 2000 individuals in canine bite prevention.

Ashley Farley Lambert - Obedience Training Director

Ashley has been around dogs her entire life, being Ricky's youngest daughter, and has been training dogs full time since graduating high school in 2019. With the help of her dad and other professionals, she has had the opportunity to be influenced by, Ashley is now the head obedience trainer for Alabama Canine. It is important to Ashley and the rest of her training team that they show their clients the potential their dog can reach! Our goal is never to stop learning and being able to better ourselves in the dog training industry.
