Narcotics Detection I, Format I E-mail
Narcotics DetectionACLEOTC pre-trains a Narcotics Detector dog for the department. The department then sends its officer through a four week, handler course. This course includes both classroom and practical field work. Tuition and fees for Format I, include all instruction, use of equipment, textbooks, purchasing of dog, kenneling and board for the officer’s dog. In order to guarantee enrollment in this course ACLEOTC must receive a signed contract from the department, accompanied by a check for one-half the contract price, eight weeks prior to the first day of class. The remaining contract price will be due the first day of class. Any department may sign-up for classes by phone, but will not be guaranteed the class until the contract and money are received.
