This course is designed for K-9 supervisors ranging from Unit Supervisors all the way to Chiefs and/or Sheriffs. The topics that will be covered include, but are not limited to, the do's and don't's of tracking, building searches, etc., requirements and rationale for maintenance training, handler compensation required by the FLSA, patrol and narcotics case laws, instructions and reasons for properly maintaining training records, preparation for the courtroom, post-bite interviews, and proper procedures after K-9 apprehension.
